Quick Pick Movers respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.
What we collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, pickup and delivery addresses, moving dates, access details, item or property details, messages, quote selections and other information you provide when requesting a quote, callback, booking or contact.
When you use this website, we may also collect technical and campaign information such as browser and device information, IP address, page path, referral source, UTM parameters, advertising click identifiers and analytics client or session identifiers. The quote calculator uses Google Maps services to resolve locations and calculate routes.
Why we collect and use information
We use information to calculate and provide moving estimates, respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver services, send service communications, maintain business records, prevent misuse, improve the website and quote experience, understand campaign performance, and meet legal obligations.
A generated calculator price is an estimate. The calculator does not make a decision that significantly affects a person’s legal rights or interests.
Analytics, tags and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site and whether advertising or website journeys lead to enquiries. Behavioural analytics events are designed not to include names, personal phone numbers, email addresses, exact addresses or precise coordinates. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers, subject to its settings and any applicable consent controls.
You can restrict cookies through your browser. Blocking optional cookies may reduce analytics accuracy but should not prevent you from contacting us or requesting a quote.
Storage and service providers
Operational quote and lead information is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database provided by Neon. We use Mailjet to deliver quote and enquiry emails, Vercel to host and operate the website, Google Maps Platform for address and route functions, and Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for measurement. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
Some providers or their subprocessors may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved can vary according to the provider, service configuration and hosting region. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate access and security controls.

Disclosure
We may disclose information to staff, contractors and service providers who need it to provide or support our services; to professional advisers; when required or authorised by law; or with your consent. We do not sell customer contact details.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, protected server credentials and encrypted connections. No online system is completely secure.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for quotes, enquiries, service delivery, record keeping, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Retention periods vary with the type of record and the purpose for which it is held. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to backup cycles and legal requirements.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
